Student Perspectives

Princeton is like a second home to me. The congenial faculty and other staff members take good care of their students. An approximate class size of 20-25 students fosters the comfortable learning atmosphere along with outstanding interactions with instructors.

The molecular biology department is quite large, and still growing, however you feel like you are part of a very small community since you get to network with just about everyone. The adventure of working with some of the most renowned scientists in the country is simply beyond description. They guide you not only in academics, but also through some difficulties in graduate life.

One can maintain a balanced social agenda in the midst of a rather challenging graduate career. Aside from the superb academic opportunities, Princeton is situated near New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and numerous shores in New Jersey. Hence, life here in Princeton has a lot more to offer besides exceptional education.
